Dubai Residents Noticed That A Fashion Store Was Racially Discriminating At Their Launch

Dubai residents are outraged at the recent events that took place today in a fashion store. The store had an event where limited edition clothing was being sold on a first-come-first-serve basis.

The queues turned corners but residents noted that management was treating some people in an inappropriate manner.

Residents noticed that the store was racially discriminating at their ‘first come first serve’ launch

Many took to their social media page to point out the incidents of today

Someone who visited the store today wrote on their Instagram saying “”I am telling you, even if you go inside you’re not getting anything. I don’t know why you’re still here.” That’s exactly the words of the guy staff in the striped shirt to one Filipino this morning. I don’t know but that sounds fishy, making sure that the Filipino guy will not get the pair. I went there also this morning all the way from UAQ. I ask for any colour, they said it’s sold out for my size. But wondering why Arabic, white, and ladies after me got their pair.”

 

The store then replied to the comment saying:

Hello, we apologize for any inconvenience you may have encountered during the event today to try and obtain a pair of … we have a zero-tolerance policy for racial discrimination or any other form of harassment and discrimination (religion, language, etc.) We value our employees, and customers, and as unique individuals, we strongly believe everyone should be treated equally.
