Flights Between India-Dubai Will Remain Suspended Until July 25

It’s been a long journey since the initial suspension of flights between Dubai-India, leaving everyone asking for updates constantly, completely understandable. Emirates airline’s recent statement is that flights from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be suspended until July 25.

The airline announced that the suspension of carrying passengers from the select countries came “in line with the UAE government directives” on Sunday via its official website.

Passengers who have connected through India, Pakistan, Bangladesh or Sri Lanka in the last 14 days will not be accepted to travel from any other point to the UAE

In addition to the suspension, Emirates added that passengers who have connected through India, Pakistan, Bangladesh or Sri Lanka in the last two weeks won’t be accepted to travel from any other point to the UAE.

UAE Nationals or holders of the Golden Visas and members of diplomatic missions who have complied with COVID 19 protocols are exempt from the above rules

If you want to double check on your travel/flight status, Emirates says its “contact centers are experiencing a greater volume of calls than anticipated.”

The airline asks that if your call is not related to travel within the next 48 hours, to consider calling back later.

So most of us have gotten at least the first dose of the vaccine. At least 77.62% of the UAE population did, according to NCEMA. This is awesome news! Although we know quite a bit about the vaccines, we never got the inside scoop on their storage systems. Which, BTW is very interesting.
