To refresh, local authorities received a tip about a substantial narcotics smuggling operation entering the country

Operation Storm was initiated, prompting authorities to swiftly inspect five shipping containers. Hidden within 651 doors and 432 decorative bars, the drugs were uncovered.

The narcotic pills being smuggled had a staggering value of AED3 billion!

Dubai Police made a significant seizure of over 86 million tablets, equivalent to about 13 tons of Captagon narcotic tablets, carefully concealed within iron and wooden doors. In addition, the extraction process spanned several days, as revealed by the interior ministry. Six individuals linked to an international drug ring were apprehended in connection with the world’s largest Captagon drug operation…

& just today, the Dubai Police posted the FULL documentary of the entire process!

Moreover, in the documentary, the identities of suspects and some law enforcement officers remain hidden. However, it provides undercover footage illustrating the discovery of the 86 million pills concealed within furniture parts inside shipping containers. The documentary also highlights the surveillance operation that led to the arrest of the suspects.
