Queen Elizabeth II Shares A Heartfelt Condolence On Sheikh Khalifa’s Passing

Queen Elizabeth II has sent a message of condolence following the passing of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Abu Dhabi on social media, stating he ‘devoted his life to serving the people of the United Arab Emirates and his relationship with its allies and friends’.

In the statement, The Queen added: ‘he will be long remembered by all who work for regional stability, understanding between nations and between faiths, and for the conservation cause’

The funeral prayer of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan took place at the Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed the First Mosque in Abu Dhabi, according to state news agency WAM on Friday.
