The new year is right around the corner and it is time to have your accounting processes up and running

1 January 2024 is the deadline for when the legal requirement for corporate tax begins. And it’s time to get your ducks in a row as the UAE government announced an AED 20,000 fine for companies whose accounting records don’t adhere to the tax laws.

Luckily for you, if you haven’t already started the process, Virtuzone is still offering free tax registration until the end of December – but make sure to book ASAP because there are very limited spots left.

Virtuzone will continue to offer tax and accounting services from 1st January onwards, so make sure to stay tuned for updates or get in touch with tax experts here.

At the end of 2024, businesses will be required to file their tax returns which is based on the accounting from the beginning of the year

John Casey, Managing Director of Virtuzone Accounting & Tax, is urging companies to be aware of the new tax laws:

It is vitally important that companies are aware of this and have everything in place by then, not only so that they can ensure that they get the best tax outcome but also because there is an AED 20,000 fine if you are not keeping correct accounting records.
