A Lounge In City Walk Has Been Turned Into A Pop Up Jazz Room With Live Music Throughout The Week

Pop-ups aren’t just event spaces or fad clothing stores or gimmicks, they can also be trendy food places, or in this case, jazz rooms.

There is nothing more that we love than a fusion of creative people (1), making use of cool spaces (2) and new concepts (3) to give people here more choice.

The Green Room, above Galvin, in City Walk ticks all these boxes.

1. The Green Room is a concept by John Gillespie and Adam Long, both with a huge passion for jazz.

The two friends met when John booked Adam to play saxophone for an event. Ever since they’ve worked together on numerous projects and events and have now teamed up to present Green Room. “A jazz club for jazz musicians”

2. Galvin Bistro and Bar is one of those restaurants that you might not know about

But you should, it’s in a licenced part of City Walk and has a lounge space upstairs with outdoor seating area as well.

3. The Green Room is a six-month pop-up

Which is a simple concept, live music Tuesday – Friday from 9pm onwards with good music, food, and cocktails, open until late AND there’s no entry fee
