A 24 year old British expat is in intensive care following a horrific horse riding incident.

Just a day before her birthday, Rebecca Chisholm suffered a tragic accident. She was thrown off a horse and suffered multiple injuries, including skull fractures and a traumatic brain injury and is currently in intensive care.

The tragic incident

Rebecca’s bills are now totally at $A110,000 (approximately AED402,000) and unfortunately these costs are reportedly not covered by her medical insurance. She will remain in intensive care for two days and will then be moved to a ward for a week.

Further treatment in the UK

According to international news it is reported that it be most ideal to have her airlifted back the UK to seek further treatment.

Rebecca moved to Dubai in August 2018 and has been teaching ever since then.
