A Dubai Driver Will Be Deported For Forging AED2 Parking Ticket

A motorist in Dubai is facing deportation after he forged an AED2 parking ticket, announced the Dubai Court of First Instance on Thursday.

Judges also sentenced the man to a suspended jail term of three months for tampering with a parking ticket to get free parking.

As per the public records, a 44-year-old Bangladeshi man changed the date on an old ticket to get away with paying parking fees

An RTA inspector going about his daily routine saw the forged ticket on the dashboard of the defendant’s car and called the police.

“The date looked tampered with. It was an expired AED2 ticket on which he changed the date,” the inspector revealed.

The accused forged an expired parking ticket by changing the date from March 3 to March 5.

The ruling remains subject to appeal.
