Asia Cup 2022 competing team players exchanged greetings at ICC Academy in Dubai, Sports City ahead of the cricket tournament, that’s all set to kickstart on Friday, August 27.

After defeating the UAE by eight wickets, Hong Kong has officially qualified for the tournament and will be joining India and Pakistan in Group A. 🏏 As a result, the six teams that’ll be playing in the main round are India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan & Hong Kong.

But it’s the match between the two arch-rivals, IND VS PAK (taking place on Sunday, August 28, 6pm GST) that already has cafes and sports bars across the UAE BOOKED out in anticipation!

India will aim to lock its record-extending 8th Asia Cup title in the UAE, under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma. Moreover, the most sought-after clashes in the tournament taking place on Sunday at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium will be the first time these two teams battle it out on the field after Pakistan recorded their first-ever win over India in a World cup match during the 2021 T20 World Cup.
