Major general Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, assistant commander-in-chief of the Dubai Police approved the app, which allows groups play together to catch criminals. Players will be tested on city regulations and adherence to rules and a knowledge of the standard regulations will lead to a higher score in the game.

Playing the games leads to real life prizes

A key feature will reward top gamers with prizes including participation certificates and visits to the Dubai Police Department.

Sheikha Al Abdouli, head of the awareness section at the anti-crime department reported the game had multi-benefits including spreading awareness and providing a line of communication between residents and Dubai Police.
