A teenager trying to sneak into Jennifer Lopez’s November concert in Dubai is up in court over the stabbing of a security guard.
A group of men were trying to sneak into the Autism Rocks Arena using fake tickets on November 17, before they were apprehended.
When security approached the young men, asking to see identification, the group attacked the guards. One of the group then stabbed an Iraqi security guard in the back before fleeing, according to a report in the National.
While escaping, one of the group dropped a ticket, which eventually lead to the police figuring out his identity. He was arrested and offered police officers the information they needed about the stabber.
A 19-year-old Syrian man has denied stabbing the security guard, telling the court he was unaware the security man was stabbed and said the security guards attacked his group.
The hearing continues at the court of misdemeanours on March 26
