An Irish man has died within hours of arriving to Dubai to start a new life here.

Killian Roche collapsed in a hotel lobby within hours of arriving to the city, he was rushed to a hospital where he later passed away.

His fiancé Emily MacKeogh paid tribute with a touching Instagram post, thanking everyone for their support and adding that family had flown in from all over the world. The pair were only recently engaged.

Killian was due to start in a role as Head of Digital for Wavemaker for the MENA region.
