The heavy rains have, indeed, begun and taken places across the UAE and that’s due to the cloud seeding operations that have occurred in the last two days, local Khaleej Times confirms. Residents should expect continued rainfall in the following days, as this is what usually takes place once cloud seeding is done.
In recent months, the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has announced that there would be a number of cloud seeing operations taking place in the UAE until the end of the year- and that’s what we now see.

The process of cloud seeding involves aircrafts flying to a cloud with little rain droplets present and shooting salt flares to it, to help provoke chances of rainfall.
Quite impressive.
