The Newest Viral Dance Craze Features Dancing Like A Zombie
The newest dance craze to go viral in the UAE, has people dancing like zombies to the song “Metsawaa” by artist Aidha Al Menhali.
The dance turned to a phenomenon when presumably Emirati students started posting videos of themselves performing it in schools and universities.
The moves are inspired by traditional Emirati dance with a twist.
The UAE’s attorney general has urged parents and educational boards to warn young adults against this type of actions, stating that this type of behaviour is against Emirati traditions and that these actions could be punishable by law.
