Boxing Champ Pacquiao Says He’s Trying To Have His Next Fight In Either Dubai Or Abu Dhabi

Following the success of his exhibition match with the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) event at Hamdan Sports Complex over the weekend, boxing champ Manny Pacquiao has also been doing more.

The Filipino pride and eight-division world champion, told The National about trying to sort out his next match to take place in either Dubai or Abu Dhabi. The 40-year-old announced in a previous interview at the Kris Fade Show that he plans to fight early next year, but prospects for its location seem to be geared more towards the UAE.

He discussed a potential Dubai debut around the same time as Expo 2020

Wonder who he would fight for this, if it does come through?

Floyd Mayweather Jr. or Amir Khan?

Pac even stayed at the beautiful Atlantis, The Palm with wife Jinkee

Boxer and Senator Pacquiao also got a tour from the Dubai Police- to enhance and learn from its world-class security initiatives

Would you be down to catch a boxing fight in the UAE?
