Bollywood beloved dance choreographer Saroj Khan, 71, sadly passed away on Friday, June 3 in Mumbai, India and her demise has left a huge void in the hearts of Hindi cinema lovers everywhere.
The ace choreographer passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest on Friday and had been admitted to the Guru Nanak Hospital in Mumbai since June 17, after complaining of breathing difficulties.
The iconic Indian dance guru worked on a number of memorable songs that were beautifully picturized on the leading ladies of Bollywood such as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sridevi, Madhuri Dixit and more. Tabaah Ho Gaye, Ek Do Teen, Dhak Dhak, Dola Re, Nimbooda and Hawa Hawai were just some of the HIT songs routined by the National Award-winning choreographer.
The Indian community in Dubai is deeply mourning the loss of the veteran choreographer, as many took to social media to share pictures and famous routines of Saroj to commemorate her illustrious career in Bollywood.
Priti Malik, being a dancer and choreographer looked upon to by the Indian dance community here in Dubai, shared a sweet tribute to Saroj Khan by dancing on her famous track Chane Ke Khet Mein from Anjaam
Priti Malik captioned her post saying,
