Big news on the Emiratisation front!
Today, the UAE announced 50 new projects which will incentivize and encourage Emiratis to join the private sector.
The program of reforms and financial incentives will drive new private sector opportunities for both young and experienced Emiratis, with an investment of AED 24 billion to create 75,000 new private sector jobs for Emiratis… Incredible!

The government announced salary support which will encourage new Emirati graduates to join the private sector
When Emirati grads join the private sector, they’ll be granted monthly allowance top ups
The Merit Program incentivizes Emiratis in particular fields, including nurses, accountants and financial auditors, lawyers, financial analysts and coders – with a monthly AED5k top-up
There will be unemployment benefit for Emiratis working in the private sector who lose their jobs due to circumstances beyond their control

In 2022, a subsidized career break will be available for Emiratis in Federal Government
A career break for between 6-12 months and up to 50% of your salary paid for by the government, this will be available for a limited number of people who will have the opportunity to return to their original position after the time period.
The Pension Program will bring the first-year cost of Emirati pensions down to zero for employers and helps pay for costs over five years
The new announcements covers everything from grants for students and fresh graduates to a billion Dirham graduate business development fund, a government-backed new private sector child allowance and unemployment benefit
