There Are Now More Smart Cars On The Streets And They Cost JUST 40 Fils To Rent
There’s never been a better incentive to ditch your car and go for a rental!
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has just announced they’re putting an extra 200 smart cars on the streets, taking the number of smart car rentals available to a total of 400.
The increase is due to a big demand in the service, which has clocked a high number of journeys and rental hours (a whopping 365,662 trips and 277,832 rental hours between when the service launched in October 2018 and the end of August).

You pay 50 fils per minute of AED30 per hour for an ‘A to B’ trip
A slightly more economical ‘A to A’ trip means you need to leave the car back where you left it; this costs 40fils per minute and AED24 per hour
