The Dubai Police Have Shared The Actual Story On The Boy Who Was Found Alone In A Mall

If you’ve been following up with the news of the lost boy found in a Dubai mall, then you’re going to want to hear the shocking revelations shared by the Dubai Police.

A little over a week ago, the 5-year-old boy was found alone in a mall- left unclaimed for a week, which caused the public to speculate on his parents’ whereabouts.

The latest update that was released thus far was him potentially being transferred to a foster care, until today.

Dubai Police revealed their findings about the boy

In a full statement shared on Dubai Police’s social media accounts, Brigadier Ali Ghanem, the Director of Al Muraqqabat Police Station said that the station received a call within 90 minutes after they shared the boy’s details on social media.

The caller said that he personally knew the boy and saw him living with a woman in Sharjah.

Both Sharjah and the Dubai Police cooperated to arrest the woman who then mentioned that the boy was not her biological son, and she was asked by his mother to take care of him five years ago. So, she had been taking care of the boy for the last five years- without informing the authorities, in hopes that the mother would return.

The mother left the country and has not returned since, and left no trace of way to be contacted.
