The UAE has ranked among the highest among world governments in the Edelman Trust Barometer 2018 report which has been released ahead of the World Economic Forum.
The Edelman report is a VERY serious research and held up to very high international standards.
For instance, the respondents for this report had to meet a lot of criteria – such as being aged 25-64, college educated, having earnings in the top 25 per cent of household income per age group in each country and to report significant media consumption and engagement in business news.
HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, tweeted that the UAE has earned this rank because of the trust the public have in their government.
The UAE has ranked No. 2 worldwide for ‘public trust in government’ in Edelman’s Trust Barometer, the seventh year we have ranked so highly. Our citizens’ trust and their confidence in us is our greatest asset and biggest achievement.
