UAE Police Seized 2.7 Million Tablets Of A Drug That Was Once Deemed Responsible For ‘Fueling Syria’s War’

Following an international sting operation last week that crossed three continents and involved 17 arrests, another major drugs bust has solidified the countries strong stance against drug smuggling.

The UAE, Saudi Arabia and Oman worked in cooperation to seize a vast amount of drugs and 12 arrests in four operations.

According to an Instagram post from Dubai Municipality, 158 kg of marijuana, 2.7million tablets of Ceptagon tablets were seized.

Ceptagon is a strong human-made amphetamine which provides ‘a feeling of well-being and erases fear. Forbes stated the drug, which is popular in Saudi Arabia and Jordan, is responsible for ‘fueling Syria’s bloody war’.
