A UAE Resident Has Been Fined AED500,000 For Sending A Hateful Email After Failing His Driving Test
A UAE resident has been fined AED500,000 for an email he sent to the RTA in which he claimed the authority rips off the poor.
The email stated that the authority took “poor people’s money by making them intentionally fail in driving tests and forcing them to repeat the tests”.
The RTA department concerned reported the incident to the Dubai Police
The email was deemed offensive and maligning to the RTA staff.
The 25-year-old Indian who sent the email through his personal phone pleaded not guilty and stated that he was frustrated after he failed his test.
