The thing about Wednesday nights is that you’re so close to the weekend that you really want to let loose, but a part of you also holds back because the next day is a working day.
This is where we’ll step in and tell you…if there’s one thing you should be doing (and you won’t have any regrets) is visiting Ripe Market at it’s new home – Le Meridien Mina Seyahi.Â
A bit of shopping, food off a truck, a comfy bean bag and a glass of grape in hand. What else could you want?!
The market is on from 2pm to 9pm every Wednesday. That makes it a great place to pop in right after work. If you don’t work, that’s even better! It’s somewhere you can take the kids to right after school. What makes it even better, is that if you’re going to ripe, parking is not a problem – it’s free!
Think the hustle and bustle of a market and the laid-back vibes of a picnic.
With around five to six food trucks parked at the venue, you won’t go back hungry. The spicy burger from Buns & Cows are on the top of that list.
We’re talking craft hops or just your regular pint of Stella and if the mood hits you, generous glasses of red and white grape. Just the stuff you need after the long week you’ve been through or to celebrate the weekend ahead.
It’s open to adults and children. You can go there with family or with friends and we assure you it will be just as fun. Bean bags, picnic benches…it’s ideal.
The stalls sell unique handcrafted items, jewellery and fashion wear in addition to the usual organic stuff they’re known for. Â
All you need to do is grab a drink, sit back, and….relax.
