King Salman Is Hosting The Families Of The Christchurch Massacre This Hajj At His Own Expense
King Salman is hosting about thousands of people this Hajj, 2000 of whom are the kin of those who were killed in Palestine. But news has come in that he will also be hosting the kin of those who were killed in the gruesome mosque shooting that took place in Christchurch, New Zealand.
According to the Saudi Gazette, 200 relatives of the victims of the Christchurch Mosque shootings will be hosted by King Salman at his own expense.
The Ambassador of New Zealand to Saudi Arabia tweeted a message praising the gesture by King Salman.
A humbling and caring gesture from His Majesty @KingSalman to invite families of victims of the Christchurch terror attack to perform Haj. This act of generosity is deeply appreciated by New Zealand and will be very meaningful for the families. https://t.co/BKCNuVS7X7
