Rumors Have Been Going Around That Saudi Arabia Is Building Churches But The Vatican Denies It

Some media sources have been claiming that the a deal has been signed between Cardina Jean-Louis Tauran and Saudi authorities to start building churches in the Kingdom.

The Cardinal recently visited Riyadh and met with high ranking officials to discuss tolerance and the importance of inter-religious exchanges.

The Vatican, however, has denied making a deal with Saudi Arabia to build churches for Christian worshippers in the Arab country. 

A spokesperson for the Vatican said the report was ‘false’, according to The Daily Mail, a UK based paper.
