WEATHER WARNING: Thunderstorms And Dust Storms Are Expect Across Major Parts Of The Kingdom In The Coming Days

The General Authority of Meteorology and Environmental Protection in Saudi Arabia has released a warning about the weather in the coming days.

Thunderstorms and rain are expected over the regions of Makkah, Najran and the Eastern Region

The authority warned residents in Makkah of thunder rains accompanied by dust-lifting winds in the city and its nearby areas, including Taif, Turba, Al-Khorma, Meysan, and Beni Saad, as well further south in Najran and Habouna.

The weather forecast is expected to begin in those areas around noon on Sunday and will continue until late Monday.

The Eastern Region can also expect thunder rains and dust storms that would limit visibility

Cities in this region include Dammam, Dharan, Baqeeq, Ihsaa, Qatif and its nearby areas.
