Jealous yet? We know we are. A Dubai-based digital marketing agency, Active Digital Marketing Communications, has announced that it will soon switch to a FOUR-day work week starting September 1. Yep, as part of its ‘trial phase,’ the new initiative will continue on operating this way until the end of the year.
Its employees will get a three-day weekend. Gasping in envy.
And in case you were wondering, no salary cuts or changes in their employees’ contracts will be made- other than the fact that they’ll be working ONE day less than the rest of us, as announced via a LinkedIn post.Â
Just fab!
…and we’re seeing more and more companies around the world trying to experiment.
In its announcement, Active Digital Marketing Communications said the move is intended to provide its employees with an improved work-life balance. Its owner and managing director, Sawsan Ghanem stated how pleased she one “to be one of the pioneers in this region, in our industry and with our team to implement this.”
The team will kickstart the adjustment process this month (August) but will officially implement the trial plan on the first of September until the end of 2021.
