Sheikh Hamdan just completed one of the hardest hikes in the world- the Half Dome trail at Yosemite in California, USA
This hiking trail has been regarded as one of the most extreme acts. There have been more than 20 deaths on Half Dome itself, and if you count the trail leading up to Half Dome, the number leaps to more than 60.
This was not an easy task- and definitely not for the faint-hearted.

One of the hardest parts of the trail is climbing the Half-Dome cables AKA ascending near-vertical cables for 400 feet
And you see a brief portion in the video shared by the prince where he braves it full steam ahead!
The Half Dome trail is an approximately 27 km trek that begins in Yosemite Valley. It is 8800 feet above sea level. The trail takes roughly 10-14 hours to complete.
But the views are stunning and definitely make it worth the climb- as shown by the Prince himself.
