South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, concluding the annual summit in Johannesburg, unveiled this transformative move. Alongside Saudi Arabia and the UAE, Iran, Egypt, Ethiopia, and Argentina are part of the invitee list.

The addition of these nations, planned for January 1, 2024, amplifies BRICS’ mission of fostering unity among developing nations. Russian President Vladimir Putin hailed the growth, vowing to further elevate BRICS’ global influence through practical cooperation.
