We’ve been seeing lots of dilemmas regarding the safety of delivery drivers in the UAE. Not too long ago, residents were concerned over the drivers as they were made to walk to send out deliveries. We also saw a restaurant that did not allow them to sit at the dine-in tables.

With all eyes on this moral dilemma, residents began to spot restaurants that are doing good by the delivery drivers.

It’s simple actions like this that restore our faith in humanity. The drivers are made to walk or cycle to deliver orders, which leave them exhausted, especially as the temperature is continuously rising.

Burger 28 set up the water dispenser with a note that says “for Talabat and Deliveroo drivers only!!!” The water is only for delivery drivers who go to pick up orders from the restaurant and it’s FREE!
