UAE Airlines Have Extended The Suspension Of Flights To And From Sudan

On April 15, Emirates Airlines and flydubai announced the temporary suspension of flights to and from Sudan amid ongoing conflict.

The situation across Sudan has been dire over the past month and countries have been actively participating to end the crisis. The UAE and many other countries in the Gulf have evacuated citizens out of the Northeast African country and sent flights carrying tons of medical aid.

Emirates Airlines and flydubai have announced that they will be extended the suspension of flights to and from Sudan

The flight suspension will continue until August 31

In a status update on their official website, Emirates Airline and flydubai stated that flights to Sudan stand cancelled “until further notice”, further stating that they are closely monitoring the situation.

The airlines have urged passengers impacted by the move to contact their booking agents for alternative travel arrangements.
