It took thrill-seeking to a new level at Ferrari World on Friday, when 24 people had to be rescued from the theme park’s Flying Aces roller coaster, due to the weather conditions.

The park guests had to be removed from the car, after it stopped working halfway up the first incline.

Ferrari World representatives told The National newspaper the guests were rescued by staff, and escorted down staircases to safety.

The coaster gets up to speeds of 120kmph and has one of the world’s tallest inverted loops.
