A New Resolution By The Government Means Transportation Companies Are About To Become Far More Regulated

A new resolution, passed by HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, will see transportation vehicles regulated in their operation on Dubai roads. 

The new resolution relates to the regulation of transportation of passengers, goods, valuables, packages, foodstuff and furniture by specialised companies.

It extends to buses, trucks, motorcycles and bicycles and will require all activity to be licenced through a permit with RTA. 

The regulations will require all vehicles to have adequate licences, parking and office space relating to the business, and will come into effect in two months.
