Etisalat Made A VAT Announcement And Prepaid And Postpaid Will Be Billed Differently

There will be 5% VAT added to your Etisalat postpaid bill after the introduction of VAT on January 1.

The phone service provider revealed that Value Added Tax is applicable to most products and will come into effect from the next year.

Postpaid customers will be charged 5% on their monthly bill, while prepaid customers will pay 5% VAT on credit and data usage and not the overall recharge value.

This is in accordance with guidelines issued by the Federal Tax Authority (FTA)
