A World’s First ‘Government Games’ Starts In Dubai This April And The Prize Money Is AED2 MILLION
It’s the first of its kind in the world, but the Dubai Government will soon take part in a newly launched ‘Government Games’.
The initiative, which encourages teamwork and team spirit, was announced by HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council on Sunday.
At the launch, Dubai’s Crown Prince compared teamwork in sports to the teamwork that drives an institution and underlined the importance of working as a team to reach a common goal.
The Government Games encourages team work

A combination of physical and mental tests with prize money of AED2 million
There will be nine tests, and in the highly competitive environment the winner of the men’s and women’s trophy will be handed the Government Cup and prize money worth AED2 million dirhams.
The games begin on April 26 and will last for three days, so no doubt teams are already practicing.
