FINALLY! 5G Will Be Making Its Way To The UAE Sooner Than You Think
You heard right, etisalat and du have announced that 5G services will finally make their way to the UAE by the end of March.
In case you were wondering, these rapid 5G services have been ready for a while but 5G-enabled devices have yet to hit the market- until next month.
According to Khaleej Times, etisalat’s team are working hard to ensure that the 5G coverage is able to reach across the entire UAE. The telecom provider also plans to build 300 5G towers in the first half of 2019 and 600 before the end of the year.

Since video consumption is expected to increase ten times more than the previous year, 5G’s arrival will parallel with the 4k and HD viewing.
Another factor that will dramatically improve, is the download time for any digital files since Etisalat is aiming for a 5Gbps download speed.
