You Can Have Your Traffic Fines Cancelled By Sending A Video On WhatsApp To The Police in RAK

The police in Ras Al Khaimah has come up with a really interesting way to raise awareness about traffic violations AND help you save some cash.

The ‘Smile & Decide’ initiative has been launched by the Ras Al Khaimah Police to develop public awareness on traffic violations and encourage drivers to observe rules and regulations.

Basically, shoot a video talking about good road behavior and send it to them on WhatsApp

And you just might have your fines cancelled!

All videos should not be more than one minute long, and should feature the motorist giving advice on good road behaviour and traffic rules and regulations to other people – at least five.

And the video must be submitted within 10 days from the date of the fine getting issued.
