Emirates Has Issued A Warning For All Travellers Over The Coming Days
As the new year approaches, airports are facing the busiest time of the year and numbers are expected to peak once again, according to Emirates.
From today until January 1, over 250,000 travellers are expected to arrive at DXB with a further 200,000 expected to fly from DXB, Dubai’s largest airport.
January 1 is expected to be the busiest day for travel, starting from the afternoon of the first day of the new year and continuing until Wednesday, January 3.
Emirates is urging customers to allow plenty of time in case of delays
Due to the high number of travellers and roadworks in the surrounding area, customers are urged to arrive at least three hours before flight departure time to avoid delays.
If your arrive less than 60 minutes prior to your flight, you will not be accepted for travel.
Be prepared
Emirates expects one of its busiest travel periods starting today. Passengers departing @Dubaiairports are advised to plan their journeys with ample time to get to and through the airport. https://t.co/J6YIF3opCY
