Lonely Planet has released its 13th annual list of 10 best cities you must visit in 2018, and it has quite a few surprising inclusions. 

It’s time to update your travel checklist, guys! 

10. Oslo, Norway

Oslo has some jaw-dropping modern Scandinavian architecture and some equally stunning outdoorsy views. Also, who can forget the beautiful Akershus Fortress!

9. Guanajuato, Mexico

Located in the central hills of Mexico, Guanajuato is a proud Spanish colonial silver mining city. Although it’s a UNESCO World Heritage City, it still has an incredibly vibrant nightlife. 

8. San Juan, Puerto Rico

San Juan city might still be reeling from Hurricane Maria, but it has a thriving tourist economy. It is best known for its historical building, colonial architecture and pristine beaches.
