CONFIRMED: Dubai To Have A Dry Day Tomorrow For 24 Hours In Occasion of The Hijri New Year

Dubai will have a ‘dry day’ from 6.30pm on Wednesday, August 19 until 7.30pm on Thursday, August 20.

A circular released by the Dubai Police noted that due to the Hijri New Year no parties or entertainment activities should be held from the evening of August 19 for a period of just over 24 hours.

The decision will affect all F&B outlets in the emirate, including restos and bars, with no music or live performers allowed, and the sale of alcohol not permitted.
