Nominations For Dubai Stars Are OPEN And Internet Fan Armies Are Out In Force
If you’ve been awake over the last couple of months, you’ll have heard Dubai is getting a Walk of Fame.
A similar idea to Hollywood’s Walk of Fame, but this is Dubai m’dears, so expect it to be bigger and flashier than you can probably imagine (think 10,000 stars, which is four times bigger than Hollywood, plus a mega-opening event).
And first, to get the ball rolling, you can NOMINATE your favourite personality for a star (this opens the stars up to not just mainstream celebs, but also YouTube stars, ‘fluencers, innovators… the lot)
The first 400 Dubai Stars will be revealed at the October unveiling event and internet fan armies (a force to be reckoned with) are hitting up Twitter repeatedly to ensure their star makes it.

The big reveal of the first 400 names is happening in October, and once complete, the sidewalk of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard in Downtown Dubai will pay tribute to 10,000 stars!
