Emirates Employees To Get Salary Hikes Amongst Other Massive Perks From July 2023

Dubai’s Emirates Group is making waves with some exciting news for its employees. After achieving record-breaking profits for the 2022-23 financial year, the Group is spreading the love by increasing salaries and allowances starting from July.

For all the hardworking employees based in Dubai, the Group has granted a generous 5% increase in basic salary. Better accommodation and transportation packages are on the horizon too, making the work-life balance for their employees even more convenient!

ALSO! Starting from September 2023, an outstanding 10% increase in education support allowance will be offered

And let’s not forget about the cherry on top—the 24-week bonus! As a celebration of the phenomenal financial results achieved in 2022-23, the Group is sharing the success with its dedicated employees.

The hard work and dedication of Emirates employees are being recognized and rewarded with all the below perks:

Moreover, to support the retention and growth of its UAE national employees, an increase in the UAE National Retention Allowance has been mentioned in the email sent to employees.

As for employees working abroad, their basic salary increases will be aligned with the local cost of living. The Emirates Group want to ensure that workers all across the board feel the positive impact of these salary adjustments.

In the fiscal year ending on March 31, 2023, Emirates achieved a staggering record profit of AED10.9 billion

That’s a remarkable turnaround from the previous year’s loss of AED3.8 billion. The Group’s revenue skyrocketed to AED119.8 billion, an 81% increase compared to the previous year. And let’s not forget their cash balance, which reached an all-time high of AED42.5 billion.

With a workforce of over 102,379 employees at the end of the financial year, the Emirates Group is a force to be reckoned with. Its subsidiaries, including the renowned Emirates Airline and dnata, provide top-notch services in ground handling, cargo, travel, and flight catering. The Group expanded its family by welcoming more than 85,219 new employees in 2022.
