Dubai residents woke up to pleasant news on Wednesday morning when it was announced that the first batch of Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccines was transported from Brussels to Dubai onboard an Emirates SkyCargo flight.
The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is all set to be made available for the general public in Dubai, however, priority will be given for the first batch of vaccinations.
A hotline number has been provided by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) for you to call and check for eligibility before booking your spot to avail the vaccine dose.

As per local authorities, senior citizens over 60 years of age, Dubai residents, frontline workers and people with chronic diseases aged 18 & above are being given priority in the first phase
You must be over 18 years of age to get a dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine.
The call centre will ask you a series of questions related to your age, existing health conditions and etc. to check your eligibility for the vaccine.

The second phase of the vaccination drive will be announced on the DHA’s official channels soon.
