Dubai Police Provide Coffee And Comfort To Tenants Affected By The Fire That Broke Out In Sports City
Dubai Sports City, known for its towering residential complexes, witnessed a dramatic incident on Monday morning, September 25. A fire erupted in the Elite 6 Sports Residence, a high-rise residential tower, causing initial panic among residents. Fortunately, Dubai’s swift emergency response teams ensured a safe and controlled resolution to the situation.
The Dubai Civil Defence received the fire report at 4:06am, promptly dispatching first responders from the Al Barsha Fire Station at 4:12am. Additional support was swiftly called in from the Dubai Investments Fire Station and Jebel Ali Fire Station.
Firefighters not only acted swiftly to evacuate residents but also worked tirelessly to extinguish the blaze, classified as ‘moderate.’ The fire was brought under control by 5:23am, with complete extinguishment achieved by 6:38am. There were no reported injuries during the incident

In a touching gesture of support and empathy, Dubai’s dedicated police force was seen providing comfort to affected tenants by distributing coffee and water
Resident Daniella Barta, who experienced the ordeal, recounted the events, stating:
“At 4:10 am, the alarm sounded, and I initially hesitated, assuming it might be another false alarm.
However, upon seeing fellow residents evacuating, I quickly joined them. Firefighters were already on the scene, and there was a brief explosion around 4:15-4:20 am, which they promptly contained. By 5:45 am, the situation was under control.
The police and firefighters continuously reassured us and even offered water and coffee during this challenging time. Their professionalism and assistance were immensely helpful.”
This incident serves as a testament to Dubai’s efficient emergency response systems, ensuring the safety and well-being of its residents even in the face of unexpected crises
