Free Dinner At The InterCon For The First 10 People To Arrive On Sunday
The first 10 people to travel to the InterContinential Dubai Festival City on Sunday will be given a free meal.
In celebration of Dubai Car Free Day, the first 10 people to arrive by public transport – and can prove as such with receipts – will be given a complimentary dinner at Anise restaurant.
It’s the 7th annual Dubai Car Free Day
Dubai leaders participate in the event, as well as government employees…you might even spot one of the Rulers of Dubai on the metro.
Last year saw 30,000 cars off the roads in Dubai, in association with Car Free Day.
The aim of the day is to reduce carbon emissions and reliance on cars; Dubai has one of the highest saturations of cars in the world, with 540 cars per 1,000 people.
