The Jebel Ali Explosion: What We Know So Far Direct From UAE Government
Last night before midnight an explosion shook many parts of Dubai.
It was felt in neighborhoods across the city including JLT, the Marina, The Springs, Arabian Ranches, Dubai Hills, and Jebel Ali with residents in Abu Dhabi also reporting hearing a loud sound.
Confused residents took to social media to determine the cause of the bang, and quickly footage of a blaze at Jebel Ali Ports started appearing on social media and WhatsApp groups.
People quickly jumped onto Twitter to share info, many shared where they were when they heard the bang
I actually thought I went crazy at first but then when I checked outside I saw a few of my neighbors all gathered . Was insanely loud in meadows! -@Abdul7_8_6
