One Guy Just Got Hit With A Massive Fine For Spitting In Public

A man in Abu Dhabi has been fined AED1,000 for spitting on Monday. The man was caught spitting in the industrial area of Mussafah, written up for spitting in public places. The fine was posted on Arab Vines Facebook page, with many commenting on the photo, praising the authorities for issuing the infraction. Several public areas have signs informing patrons of the rules. 

The fines for spitting were increased to AED1,000 from AED200 back in 2012.
