Tweeps Begin Idolising Hushpuppi After Rumours Of The Fraudster Being Released From Prison Go Viral
Earlier this week, screenshots of the Bureau of Prisons website, showing this release of Dubai resident, Raymond Igbalode Abbas AKA Hushpuppi, a cybercriminal and multi-million-dollar fraudster, on July 20 went viral.
Hushpuppi’s US defence lawyer, Gal Pissetzky who is fighting to prove the innocence of the alleged Nigerian fraudster, has denied rumours of the release of his 37-year-old client
Gal Pissetzky has made clear that Hushpuppi is being transferred to the Central District of California from Illinois, Chicago to face prosecution, thus why records insinuate that he’s been ‘released’.
Once again your reporting is totally unprofessional, inaccurate and lacks any truth

Dubai Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation have alleged that the 37-year-old Nigerian defrauded over 1,926,400 victims from various parts of the world out of millions of dirhams (AED150 million)
After a raid carried out to nab the criminals by the Dubai Police, officials seized items worth more than AED150 million ($40.9 million) in cash. Confiscated items included:
- 21 computers
- 47 smartphones
- 15 storage memory devices
- 5 hard disks containing data of around 1,926,400 victims
- 13 luxury cars with an estimated value of AED 25 million (obtained from fraud crimes)
