Uber Is Rolling Out Three New Updates And Some People Will Love The Changes
Uber has announced it’s rolling out some new updates in the MENA region.
The improvements come directly from driver feedback and are designed to improve three areas: flexibility, efficiency and earnings.
Here are the important bits…
1. Drivers can now set their own personal arrival destination and time
This will allow for more flexibility on the driver’s part.
If the drivers needs to get to a certain destination at the end of the day, using the feature will mean they won’t accept journeys that would take them to the other end of town.
2. Drivers will now get paid for the waiting time
(After a grace period for the rider.) Makes sense…
3. If it’s going to be a long journey – the driver will get notified
You’d want to know too if your client was going to need more than 60 minutes of your time.

Uber is also offering free cardiac checks to all their drivers and promising more new features in the coming months.
