Soon after, Careem jumped in, announcing in a Twitter post that they were ‘Coming Quiker’, and now good food ecosystem Locale has entered the tackle, announcing:’The Real RONALDOUGH’ will be delivering your food in good time!

To front the safe-delivery campaign, UAE’s first foodpreneur community has drafted in their driver Ronnie as ambassador. He will deliver your food in 23 minutes SAFELY, which has always been Locale’s number one priority, ‘because no delivery is worth anyone’s life’.
Locale manages fast delivery as it works directly with a small number of homegrown restaurant concepts. Unlike other companies, the drivers work directly for Locale and they are not incentivized to make more deliveries. In fact, they are incentivised to grow within the company… Many of the store managers actually started their careers as delivery drivers.
